MICHAL KALECKI, 1899-1970
Michael Kalecki foi um economista polonês. Ao que parece, grande parte dos princípios que Keynes estabeleceu em 1936 já tinham sido trabalhados e publicados anteriormente por ele.... em polonês.
Nos anos 30, contudo, foi reconhecido mundialmente. Suas publicações mais conhecidas tratam dos ciclos econômicos. Também foi um pioneiro na análise matemática da dinâmica econômica. Utilizou amplamente conceitos clássicos e marxistas, interessando-se pelos conflitos de classe, distribuição da renda e concorrência imperfeita.
Estas idéias tiveram influência e reconhecimento pela escola keynesiana de Cambridge (especialmente entre seus membros mais próximos ao marxismo, como J. Robinson e N. Kaldor) e entre os economistas pós-keynesianos.
